Chamado de BI Explorer (BIE-1), o sistema \u00e9 resultado de uma colabora\u00e7\u00e3o entre duas empresas incubadas no Guangdong Institute of Intelligence Science and Technology (GDIIST).<\/p>\n<p>O dispositivo tem dimens\u00f5es compar\u00e1veis \u00e0s de um frigobar e pode ser conectado diretamente \u00e0 rede el\u00e9trica de resid\u00eancias ou escrit\u00f3rios. Os pesquisadores afirmam que o equipamento tamb\u00e9m poder\u00e1 ser utilizado em contextos n\u00e3o profissionais, embora ainda n\u00e3o tenham detalhado essas aplica\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n<p>Apesar de o laborat\u00f3rio ainda n\u00e3o ter revelado todos os detalhes t\u00e9cnicos nem apresentado o aparelho em funcionamento, algumas especifica\u00e7\u00f5es foram divulgadas:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 1.152 n\u00facleos de <a href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Unidade_central_de_processamento\">CPU<\/a>;<br \/>\n\u2022 4,8 TB de mem\u00f3ria DDR5;<br \/>\n\u2022 204 TB de armazenamento interno;<br \/>\n\u2022 ru\u00eddo inferior a 45 dB;<br \/>\n\u2022 temperatura de opera\u00e7\u00e3o abaixo de 70 \u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>O desempenho do novo sistema \u00e9 fruto do trabalho conjunto da Zhuhai Hengqin Neogenint Technology e da Suiren Medical Technology. De acordo com os desenvolvedores, o BIE-1 \u00e9 capaz de treinar 100 mil tokens por segundo e realizar infer\u00eancias de at\u00e9 500 mil tokens por segundo em modelos de linguagem de intelig\u00eancia artificial (IA) \u2014 n\u00fameros compar\u00e1veis aos de estruturas baseadas em m\u00faltiplas GPUs.<\/p>\n<p>O grande diferencial est\u00e1 em uma \u201crede neural intuitiva\u201d, desenvolvida de forma independente, que \u201cimita os mecanismos computacionais do c\u00e9rebro\u201d e processa texto, imagem e fala.
