O estudo, publicado no Journal of Forest Research, revelou que a influ\u00eancia dos porcos dom\u00e9sticos no c\u00f3digo gen\u00e9tico da popula\u00e7\u00e3o atual \u00e9 conduzida de forma espec\u00edfica pelas f\u00eameas.<\/p>\n<p>Os dados mostram que a capacidade dos porcos dom\u00e9sticos de se reproduzirem ao longo de todo o ano, ao contr\u00e1rio dos javalis nativos, que geralmente procriam apenas uma vez anualmente, foi transmitida pelas linhagens maternas. Essa caracter\u00edstica resultou em uma renova\u00e7\u00e3o gen\u00e9tica muito mais veloz do que o previsto.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dilui\u00e7\u00e3o gen\u00e9tica e aplica\u00e7\u00f5es pr\u00e1ticas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Apesar da reprodu\u00e7\u00e3o acelerada, a pesquisa identificou que o DNA nuclear dos porcos dom\u00e9sticos est\u00e1 diminuindo rapidamente a cada nova gera\u00e7\u00e3o. Os cientistas j\u00e1 localizaram animais que est\u00e3o a mais de cinco gera\u00e7\u00f5es de dist\u00e2ncia do cruzamento inicial, apresentando tra\u00e7os gen\u00e9ticos su\u00ednos m\u00ednimos em seu n\u00facleo celular, embora ainda carreguem o DNA mitocondrial dos ancestrais dom\u00e9sticos.<\/p>\n<p>A relev\u00e2ncia da descoberta vai al\u00e9m das fronteiras da zona de exclus\u00e3o.
