Criptomoeda –<\/strong> Uma \u201cinvestiga\u00e7\u00e3o urgente\u201d foi anunciada pelo governo argentino na noite do \u00faltimo s\u00e1bado (15). O alvo \u00e9 a criptomoeda<\/a> promovida pelo presidente Javier Milei na \u00faltima sexta-feira (14) em uma publica\u00e7\u00e3o nas redes sociais e que foi derrubada horas depois. O fato rendeu acusa\u00e7\u00f5es de fraude e pedidos de impeachment, com milhares de investidores relatando que o dinheiro \u201csumiu\u201d pouco tempo depois.<\/p>\n

O presidente havia publicado no X uma mensagem que ficou fixada por mais de cinco horas. Nela havia um link para um projeto intitulado “Viva La Libertad Project”<\/em>, confirmou a imprensa local. \u201cO mundo quer investir na Argentina. $LIBRA”, dizia a postagem juntamente ao nome do token, uma unidade de valor digital baseada na tecnologia blockchain sem valor em moeda real.<\/p>\n

O ultraliberal Milei afirmava em sua publica\u00e7\u00e3o que a criptomoeda era \u201cum projeto privado” dedicado a “incentivar o crescimento da economia argentina, financiando pequenas empresas e empreendimentos argentinos”.<\/p>\n

A medida recebeu muitas cr\u00edticas, n\u00e3o apenas de pol\u00edticos da oposi\u00e7\u00e3o, mas tamb\u00e9m de economistas e especialistas em criptomoedas da Argentina. Eles apontaram que esse tipo de ativo poderia ser algum tipo de fraude ou esquema de pir\u00e2mide. A publica\u00e7\u00e3o foi exclu\u00edda horas depois. Em sua conta do X Milei explicou que \u201cn\u00e3o estava ciente dos detalhes do projeto e, depois que tomei conhecimento, decidi n\u00e3o continuar difundindo-o”.<\/p>\n

Diante das cr\u00edticas, a Presid\u00eancia informou ainda na noite de s\u00e1bado que, “diante dos fatos”, Milei “decidiu intervir de forma imediata com o Escrit\u00f3rio Anticorrup\u00e7\u00e3o (OA) para determinar se houve conduta impr\u00f3pria por parte de qualquer membro do governo nacional, incluindo o pr\u00f3prio presidente”.<\/p>\n

A cria\u00e7\u00e3o de uma \u201cUnidade de For\u00e7a-Tarefa de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d sob o gabinete da Presid\u00eancia encarregada de \u201ciniciar uma investiga\u00e7\u00e3o urgente sobre o lan\u00e7amento da criptomoeda $LIBRA e todas as empresas ou indiv\u00edduos envolvidos na opera\u00e7\u00e3o” tamb\u00e9m foi anunciada em publica\u00e7\u00e3o no X.<\/p>\n

Dinheiro \u201csumiu\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

De acordo com a revista de mercados de capitais The Kobeissi Letter e outros especialistas em finan\u00e7as digitais, antes do apoio de Milei cerca de 80% dos ativos da $LIBRA estava nas m\u00e3os de poucos. Depois da publica\u00e7\u00e3o do presidente, o valor cresceu exponencialmente, de d\u00e9cimos a um pico de US$ 4.978 (R$ 28.512 na cota\u00e7\u00e3o atual). Os detentores originais come\u00e7aram a vender com lucros milion\u00e1rios, por\u00e9m o valor despencou logo em seguida.<\/p>\n

Javier Smaldone, especialista em inform\u00e1tica e influenciador digital conhecido por denunciar esquemas de pir\u00e2mides, afirma que a manobra \u00e9 conhecida no trading digital como uma \u201cpuxada de tapete\u201d.<\/p>\n

“Uma criptomoeda \u00e9 criada, o que tamb\u00e9m pode ser feito com a\u00e7\u00f5es, recebe uma liquidez inicial para que o que foi criado valha alguma coisa e, em seguida, uma campanha publicit\u00e1ria de algum tipo \u00e9 iniciada, atraindo pessoas”, explicou Smaldone sobre o papel que a promo\u00e7\u00e3o de Milei poderia ter desempenhado.<\/p>\n

O especialista tamb\u00e9m comentou que \u00e0 medida que \u201cas pessoas come\u00e7am a comprar, o valor do ativo aumenta (…) at\u00e9 que, em algum momento, aqueles que administram a liquidez retiram o dinheiro e a coisa desanda”.<\/p>\n

O ocorrido tamb\u00e9m foi alvo de denuncias de l\u00edderes da oposi\u00e7\u00e3o. Mart\u00edn Lousteau, senador UCR (centro) foi um deles. De acordo com uma publica\u00e7\u00e3o feita em sua conta do X “esta \u00e9 a segunda vez que, como funcion\u00e1rio, (Milei) anuncia ativos do mundo das criptomoedas que acabam sendo uma fraude”.<\/p>\n

Ainda no s\u00e1bado, o bloco liderado por peronistas na C\u00e2mara dos Deputados do Congresso Nacional, Uni\u00e3o pela P\u00e1tria, anunciou que apresentar\u00e1 “um pedido de impeachment contra o Presidente da Na\u00e7\u00e3o”, nesta segunda-feira (17).<\/p>\n

Esse tipo de conduta n\u00e3o \u00e9 novidade para Milei: em 2021 o ent\u00e3o deputado e agora presidente promoveu a plataforma CoinX, que oferecia lucros de 8% ao m\u00eas em d\u00f3lares e agora tamb\u00e9m est\u00e1 sendo investigada por suposta fraude.<\/p>\n

Maximiliano Ferraro, que \u00e9 deputado da Coaliza\u00e7\u00e3o C\u00edvica, afirmou que o que aconteceu com a $LIBRA “foi uma manobra especulativa que poderia ser alavancada no poder pol\u00edtico do Presidente e no uso de informa\u00e7\u00f5es privilegiadas”. O Congresso “deveria criar uma comiss\u00e3o especial de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o” para “esclarecer os fatos e determinar as responsabilidades”, considerou.<\/p>\n
