A amplia\u00e7\u00e3o desses centros nos \u00faltimos anos \u2013 e a esperada para os pr\u00f3ximos \u2013 aponta para um consumo cada vez maior de energia el\u00e9trica.<\/p>\n<p>De acordo com estimativas da consultoria McKinsey, s\u00f3 na Europa o consumo de eletricidade deve triplicar at\u00e9 o final da d\u00e9cada em raz\u00e3o da IA. No Brasil, o Minist\u00e9rio de Minas e Energia (MME) observou um aumento significativo na solicita\u00e7\u00e3o de energia el\u00e9trica para projetos de data centers, com proje\u00e7\u00e3o de demanda chegando a 9 GW at\u00e9 2035.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/fenati.org.br\/wikipedia-suspende-teste-com-resumos-de-ia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>LEIA: Wikip\u00e9dia suspende teste com resumos de IA ap\u00f3s cr\u00edticas de editores<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cO que temos visto no mercado, notadamente a partir de 2024, \u00e9 que muitas institui\u00e7\u00f5es j\u00e1 est\u00e3o analisando investimentos e percebendo a necessidade dessas transforma\u00e7\u00f5es\u201d, afirma em comunicado Ronaldo Hellwig, CEO da Delta Cable Americas (DCA) no Brasil.<\/p>\n<p>A companhia atua na distribui\u00e7\u00e3o de solu\u00e7\u00f5es em conectividade, seguran\u00e7a eletr\u00f4nica e infraestrutura de rede, e recentemente lan\u00e7ou uma divis\u00e3o voltada exclusivamente a data centers, de olho na expans\u00e3o do setor.<\/p>\n<p>Segundo Hellwig, a ado\u00e7\u00e3o de estrat\u00e9gias que reduzam o impacto ambiental ser\u00e1 a principal prioridade do mercado em 2025. Ele destaca que, al\u00e9m do investimento em energia renov\u00e1vel, os sistemas de refrigera\u00e7\u00e3o requerem aten\u00e7\u00e3o redobrada.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cO consumo excessivo de energia e \u00e1gua est\u00e3o diretamente relacionados ao arrefecimento das salas. Portanto, ajustar o processamento e reorganizar o data center ajuda a melhorar a circula\u00e7\u00e3o de ar e a evitar a forma\u00e7\u00e3o de pontos de calor, o que possibilita obter bons resultados com investimentos e custos operacionais reduzidos\u201d, diz.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sete pr\u00e1ticas sustent\u00e1veis<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Especialistas da DCA elencam sete recomenda\u00e7\u00f5es pr\u00e1ticas para mitigar os efeitos ambientais negativos gerados pelas opera\u00e7\u00f5es em data centers:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Evitar energia desperdi\u00e7ada<\/strong><br \/>\nServidores com m\u00faltiplos n\u00facleos s\u00e3o projetados para oferecer desempenho aprimorado, mas muitas vezes operam parcialmente ociosos, o que pode aumentar o gasto energ\u00e9tico sem necessidade. Monitorar o uso real e reavaliar sua aloca\u00e7\u00e3o pode ajudar.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Melhorar o uso dos servidores<\/strong><br \/>\nOrganizar melhor os dados, reduzir o n\u00famero de servidores, eliminar c\u00f3pias redundantes e dimensionar corretamente a capacidade de armazenamento podem permitir o desligamento de equipamentos desnecess\u00e1rios e, com isso, poupar energia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Utilizar redes em fibra \u00f3ptica<\/strong><br \/>\nCada vez mais integradas \u00e0s iniciativas de TI sustent\u00e1vel, as redes \u00f3pticas consomem menos energia, j\u00e1 que seus elementos passivos n\u00e3o requerem alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o el\u00e9trica. Al\u00e9m disso, aquecem menos do que cabos met\u00e1licos e otimizam a ventila\u00e7\u00e3o ao ocupar menos espa\u00e7o nas canaletas, o que tamb\u00e9m reduz a necessidade de material.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Gerenciar os ativos com intelig\u00eancia<\/strong><br \/>\nSoftwares de gerenciamento permitem acesso em tempo real aos dados dos equipamentos, o que facilita a\u00e7\u00f5es r\u00e1pidas e baseadas em informa\u00e7\u00f5es precisas. O monitoramento remoto ajuda a TI a identificar \u00e1reas com maior temperatura e consumo, ajustando os sistemas de climatiza\u00e7\u00e3o conforme a demanda real.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Usar a redund\u00e2ncia com equil\u00edbrio<\/strong><br \/>\nA duplica\u00e7\u00e3o de sistemas \u00e9 comum para prevenir falhas inesperadas, mas deve ser implementada com equil\u00edbrio. Redund\u00e2ncias excessivas elevam o consumo sem agregar valor proporcional \u00e0 resili\u00eancia operacional.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Adotar sistemas h\u00edbridos de refrigera\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong><br \/>\nSolu\u00e7\u00f5es que combinam ar-condicionado de precis\u00e3o com resfriamento a \u00e1gua ou que utilizam ar externo s\u00e3o boas alternativas para otimizar a climatiza\u00e7\u00e3o dos ambientes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7.
